Founded in Monza, Lombardy, on September 1, 1912, AC Monza—the “Biancorossi” (white and reds)—is a rising star in Italian football. The team plays its home matches at the Stadio Brianteo, which was built in 1988 and has a capacity of 16,197.
Monza was promoted to Serie A for the first time in its history following the 2021-2022 Serie B season. Prior to the start of the 2023-2024 Serie A season, Monza and AC Milan played in a friendly called the Berlusconi Cup, named after the late Italian Prime Minister and Milan part-owner Silvio Berlusconi, who had purchased AC Monza in 2018.
